Coded a custom WordPress plugin capable of displaying multiple versions of The Bible. Currently it’s in use on the Bible Verses for Me website to display the King James (KJV) and American Standard (ASV) versions.
This plugin is proprietary to the site and employs a single shortcode to display a selected version/book/chapter number.
Bible Verse WordPress Plugin
A custom WordPress plugin with several shortcode functions. Displays a verse of the day, joins multiple verses into topics, displays verses from multiple Bibles for a selected topic.
Almost every page at the Wisdom of Scripture website is dynamically generated with the plugin. The code from the Bible display plugin was rewritten to take advantage of filters and actions that use name/value pairs instead of query strings resulting in a single page capable of displaying multiple Bible versions while displaying SEO friendly URLs.
